This is about fixing the err_gen_zlib_2 on the social club of gta 5. With steam closed, you can also try deleting the appmanifest_271590.acf - then replace it with the one from this link - trying to skirt around a possible permissions issue/steam not updating certain files that state the game is updated, or constantly forcing sc reinstall.. Apr 20, 2015 @ 5:59am tried all this crap, verification says nothing is wrong, redownload brings up the same exact problem. tried the checksum fixes and all that, just redownloads the file with the wrong checksum and ♥♥♥♥s it all up again..
